William Marquez (born March 14, 1943) guest starred on George Lopez in the recurring role of Manny Lopez, George's absent father, who first appears in the Season 1 episode "Long Time No See (Part Two)".

About William

Appearing in a total of three episodes of the series, Manny, Marquez's character, whom George hasn't seen since he was a toddler, appears in George's life again when Georgee decides to drive to Phoenix with intent to confront him for not being a part of his childhood, this, while bringing Angie, Benny and Max with him to Phoenix after Manny had offered via phone call to loan him money.

William also appears in the Season 2 episodes "Dubya, Dad, and Dating", "Dubya, Dad and Dating (Part 2)" in Season 2 and "Would You Like a Drumstick or a Kidney?" in Season 3. Among his many TV and film roles, William has also appeared in the series General Hospital in 1989 and the films The Mask of Zorro (1998), Crazy Heart (2009), and The Lost City (2005).
