Max keeps wetting the bed and George tells him to be a man about it, but a doctor reveals the accidents stem from an infected kidney that has to be removed.
When Max starts to frequently wet the bed, Vic thinks that he may be sexually active. So George and Angie take Max to see a Dr. Woodson (Ken Howard, in special guest appearance) only to find out that Max needs surgery on his kidney ,because his urine is starting ot back up because the tubes leading to Max's kidneys are in an abnormally top narrow position. Max also starts dating a new girlfriend named Cristy Chapman (Ashly Holloway).
When Ashly and new boyfriend Max begin kissing out in the hammock in the backyard, Angie, who begins to become a bit overly concerned that her son and his girlfriend afe moving a bit too fast, she implores George to do something abouit it, as George says to her that it's nothing to be concerned about, as the two young lovebirds have constantly been affectionely saying "I love you" to each other, George then agrees, as he tells Max that "you don't say I love you to a girl" until "you find the right shark you wan't to spend the rest of your life with!"
