Powers & Sons Aviation is an aerospace contract company which George, Benny and Ernie are employed on the ABC-TV series George Lopez.

The Powers Brothers[]

Jack and Mel Powers (Jack Blessing and Mark Tymchyshyn) are the co-presidents of Powers Brothers Aviation, the airplane manufacturing factory that employs George, Benny, and Ernie. A third brother, Lou Powers, is also co-owner of the company but estranged from his siblings. Lou drinks often and is described as being more "caring" for the workers by promoting better quality health care. Occasionally, Jack and Mel will make racial comments towards George such as calling him 'amigo' and 'Senor Pumpkin Head.'

In the series finale "George Decides to Sta-Local Where It's Familia", Jack and Mel eventually end up being bought out for the factory and announce they are co-presidents at a similar airplane factory in Cancun, Mexico, leaving the running of the factory to George. Jack and Mel are usually looked down upon by most other aviation companies mostly because their father and uncle started the business and since they inherited it the company has gone down the tubes somewhat, and they constantly prove they are simply not the men their father and uncle were.
