Luisa Leschin (born July 13, 1953) served as a producer for George Lopez in 92 of the show's 120 episodes in Seasons 3-6, and also wrote or co-wrote 11 episodes in the series, beginning with the Season One episode "No Free Launch" (episode #6). Luisa has been nominated twice for ALMA awards, which includes the Season Five episode "George Discovers Benny's Sili-Con Job" (episode #9).
Luisa returned to America and began acting in television films and television series in 1979 with the CBS-TV series The White Shadow. After this they played multiple roles, as in Blackstone (1983-1988), FOX's Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990-1991), Square One TV (1987-1992) and FOX's Melrose Place (1995-1997).
Leschin is also active as a scriptwriter and wrote for, in addition to GL, such TV shows as Are We There Yet?, The Brothers Garcia, Resurrection Blvd., and Everybody Hates Chris
