Ray Palmero, is a character who appears in the Season Five episode of George Lopez titled "George Doesn't Trustee Angie's Brother" (episode #17). The part of Ray is played in the episode by Andy Garcia, in a special guest appearance.

About Ray[]

Ray is Angie's brother and Veronica's father who appears once in the show. He is shown as dishonest, sneaky and is a con man.

Ray comes to visit Angie, when he finds out that his daughter, Veronica, is going to inherit the family inheritance. But George sees through Ray's scheme when Ray asks Veronica to tap into her inheritance to invest in a new company. Ray only wanted Veronica's money. In the end, he tries to walk away at night but is caught by George, and leaves the next day. Despite George believing otherwise, Ray states he does in fact love his daughter and George tells him to stay the next morning to prove it.

In his childhood, Ray was doted on by his father. His sister Angie describes him as getting "everything he ever wanted", to the point where he was spoiled; perhaps to the point where he was never told "no", when he wanted something, which impacted his judgement as to him not being taught right or wrong.

He would grow up as an awful man, always wanting things his way, as mentioned in A Funeral Brings George to His Niece.
